Hi, I am Vedrana Zaimović
At times, life can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or simply too much to carry alone. Therapy offers a space to pause, make sense of these experiences, and begin to respond to them with more clarity and stability.
In our sessions, we take time to understand what is happening within you, while gradually developing new ways to cope, regulate, and live in a way that feels true to you.
My approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative, creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for your process.
My path
I have always known that I wanted to study psychology. From an early age, I was curious about the inner world — both my own and that of others. This curiosity gradually became a path, one that has led me through different fields, approaches, and experiences.
Working across these different contexts has shaped my way of understanding people and their inner processes, particularly in relation to trauma, loss, and relational dynamics. Over time, I have learned that there is not one single approach that holds all the answers, but rather many ways of listening, understanding, connecting, and being present with what is.
All of this has ultimately brought me closer to my own inner truth and the way I work today. A guiding belief that has stayed with me throughout my path is: trust the process. This belief also guides me in our sessions. I am also a mother — an experience that has deepened my understanding of family, vulnerability, and what it means to ask for help.
Professional Experience
I have worked across different fields supporting people in vulnerable and complex life situations, including paediatric psycho-oncology and palliative care, social-therapeutic residential care, and disability support services. I currently work as a psychologist and paediatric psycho-oncologist at Initiative krebskranke Kinder München e.V., and also in private practice.
